Myrtle Rockwell was a very dear lady. She was generous,patient, kind, forgiving, hospitable,wise, disciplined, hard working, friendly, enjoyed good meals, enjoyed simple things, she loved the Lord more than any material things. She was very special. She loved gardening. She loved our drives and we drove 1000's of miles. She had no regrets. I was so blessed by God to have known her. We are moving towards three years already that Myrtle Rockwell went home to be with the Lord. And one of her favorite songs to sing was, "Oh that will be glory for me"
I enjoy this song too. And it will be glory for us all who believe that Christ's death and Resurrection is sufficient to save us as we believe God's provision alone. As time marches on and many if not all who knew Myrtle Rockwell don't give her life any thought let alone miss her, I have not stopped missing her. She was a once in a lifetime friend. And I thank the Lord to have met, known and cared for her. Thank the Lord for his gracious provision of His Son Jesus Christ as our substitute for our sin-he died on our behalf and because of that we are in His forever family as we believe.
